A word from the founder

Our story is the story of our students. All their stories are deeply human and unique. They are filled with hesitation, ambition, passion, drive, disappointment, fear, failure, and success. Most of the time they carry amazing potential, and they come to us looking for guidance because they are feeling lost and overwhelmed.

We are here to understand every single one of them and to put all the chances on their side, so that they can live the lives they had always wanted and have the future they had envisioned.

I still remember one of my very first students, Alex. A successful Swiss executive came to me, as he wanted to reapply for an EMBA at Chicago Booth after having been rejected the previous year. When we finished our exploratory interview, I realized that he had a fascinating background with rich and varied professional experience. He was also a passionate and empathetic leader with strong team building and management skills eager to drive change and to share success.

Unfortunately, his application didn’t reflect at all his experience or his values. After some hesitation Alex admitted that since he came from an engineering background, writing was never one of his strengths. He also had problems with questions that challenged his creativity. As a result, we worked together step by step on the identification of his strengths, definition of his essential message and construction of his arguments and examples. At the end of our work together, his application had power, conviction and direction, and his essays were eloquent, clearly reflecting his management and leadership potential, as well as his professional goals. He got accepted that very year into his first-choice school and called to thank me warmly for my help.

In the next few years, I realized that Alex was not alone. As more and more students knocked on my door seeking advice with their applications, essays, interviews, and tests, I realized that I needed to create a better way of helping them. Today we live in a world that allow students from all walks of life to change their condition and their lives through education. And yes, there are days when I wake up and I am very proud. I am proud of our students’ achievements, of their feedback, of their success, of their careers… They have changed so much, they have grown, but they know that we are here for them, and our success is only possible if they succeed.
